Anyone cleaned their parcel shelf and what with.

My Ivory coloured parcel shelf has a few marks that id like gone. If i just cleaned them off it will show up as a cleaned area so i was thinking of cleaning the whole thing to elevate this problem but i'm not sure what to use.

Any suggestions welcome so long as that are sensible

An aerosol can of 'valet' usually does the trick spray on and let it foam, agitate if necessary, then i always wait five mins and scrub it over with a nice clean white towel

Passed one on the way and thought hmm so popped in and they had some upholstery cleaner.

Now SWMBO'd is giving me daggers as in in the utility room (my new garage) cleaning

I have always used vanish foam in a spray can and done headlining and other bits when I first get a car.

Like you though, the ivory parcel shelf does not stay clean for long, so the vanish and a damp cloth have to come out again.

I always remove the parcel shelf if the car goes into a garage or something. Just saves the hassle after......

Gone: Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue, Zambezi Silver, Charcoal Oxford Leather

Well its a bit cleaner but not what i wanted so i'm going to use a steamer next weekend and try and lift the grime out.
