NO DRIVE IN FOR L405.

HI guys I wanted to go with the kids to a drive in movie but with the radio turning off every 12 mins I can not see me sitting there with the engine on for two hours , its a shame the FF 1800 watt system would of made for some great sound quality.Shame there is not a way of running the radio with the screen powered off and just the sound, but I guess running the 1800 watt system would require a second battery. Maybe this could be an option for the MY 15 model.

OK I don't have a L405 but I killed my battery completely at a drive in buy turning the screen and every thing else off bar the radio and overriding the shut down a couple of times .
How about a small quiet generator and a batterie conditioner ? Laughing
I did kind of think about this Sad
The problem is you think nothing else is running bar the radio but in truth all the systems are awake and chewing amps Big Cry 2008 MY Supercharged

the L405 does have a second battery in the rear part of the big M3D audio option.

The problem is that LR seems to have missed the plot on the software again as the screen wakes the whole car up so loads of stuff is on ! Sad Far to many gone...

Most modern stuff is similar - e.g. you only get a few minutes of radio with Mercedes COMAND before it turns everything off.
