Steering feels a bit vague/wobbly

Hi Not sure what is up with my FF - its kind of hard to describe but the steering feels a bit unresponsive and depending on the road surface almost feels like it has a mind of its own - not changed anything (tyres etc) and cant see anything obvious that is loose or broken - was MOTd back in Sept and only advisory was the brake pipes and I've probably done about 1500 miles since then. Tracking was all done about 8 weeks ago. Tyre pressures all ok as well.

Had to use it for work today - and involved a bit of offroad but nothing severe -really just a muddy forestry track and it felt worse when I raised the suspension (all raised ok and no error messages)

Cant fathom it out but it just doesnt feel right and would like to get it sorted. Any thoughts/suggestions welcome.

Thanks

S

Could the servotronic do that? If there was no resistance it might be similar to what you describe.. Previously..

Thanks - now that you've given me some ideas been doing a bit of a search and symptoms are very like issues others have had and resolved with new control arms and drop links. Off work tomorrow so will try and get a better look at it. Just not nice to drive at present and I do like driving my FF.
