Windshield cowl

Has anyone ever changed the plastic windshield cowl that runs the length on the bottom of the windshield that the
Windshield wiper arms attach thru? We destroyed mine putting in the new battery and not putting the
Bonnet in service mode. Was wondering if the pillars need to come off the sides of the windshield to install. Thx! Mike

Mine was loose when I got it and lifted up on one side. As it's flexible once in place you can bend it to fit without the need to remove pillars I hope that helps. Thumbs Up Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

I just replaced mine recently. You don't have to completely remove the pillar covers. Just pull them out a bit at the base to allow enough room to maneuver the cowl cover into place. Just be careful - the cowl cover is very fragile at the ends (ask me how I know). 2004 RR Westminster 4.4 V8

Is that the new BMW engine that runs on methane? Or maybe its an even newer engine that runs on milk?

I see also that it has twin horns, one is high pitch (upwards) and one is low pitch (facing down!)
