There is a modified part from LR (ask Dan) with a hole in it already... Been an issue for years |

Why bother when you can fit an inexpensive new JLR approved part |

Because when it happens chances are you will not have the new JLR approved part. Drilling (or simply removing) takes a few minutes and your cured and can continue your journey (you may be in Outer Mongolia). By all means then order a spanking new JLR part |

Thanks Gaz, ordered from Amazon and replaced this morning - old filter wasn't too bad but air flows through the new filter a bit easier
