Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red
I have finely worn something out

Not strictly true , I have done the usual tyres discs and pads and one case of the usual ropey compressor but;

I have a shimmy through the steering wheel on left hand sweepers at 100-110 kph and the hint of a nock under braking so I am fairly sure it's the control arms . Not bad for two Rangies and 7+ years but I have no tools yet so here is the big question is its a big job to do all four and how much pain through the wallet ? 2008 MY Supercharged
Rimini Red / Jet
four zone climate
remote park heater
and no ugly kid windows.

lower control arms are held with nuts and bolts. I put a post up a long time ago showing I i managed it with pictures ... to be fair, I managed it on the driveway over the course of a day. Second time around, it took me a lot less time. ( I think I was less gentle on the parts I was removing tho ) V8 or else ...
