I can't see the importance of fuel consumption in regard to the relatively still high purchasing cost.
It's like having a new swimming pool built at your house and saving money by only half filling it.
My opinion. Enjoy life. Get a Supercharged. You live only once.
If you get the Diseasel, you'll be regretting your old Supercharged.

Thanks for the input guys.

Despite the high level of enthusiasm for the 5.0 SC (!) I am leaning towards the 4.4TDV8 (and a heated swimming pool!) Thumbs Up

I have a pool heater , it's solar so heats the pool up best when its hot Banging Head so its a $50 solution looking for a $5 problem.

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

I have to say (at a lower price point) I am having exactly the same conversation with myself!

Do I go nice looking average mileage 3.6 TDV8 AB in my ultimate spec and colour (with small children and mostly long journeys RSE is highly desirable), or 4.4 TDV8 Vogue which has had a tougher life in lesser spec (no RSE amongst other things) with high mileage for its age and less desirable (IMHO) Oxford leather.

I am thinking 3.6 but very much wavering!
I know about the fuel consumption difference but are the later engined cars worth giving up gadgets for?

Oh Lordy lordy the stress!!! 2016 (L405) Autobiography in Black with Ivory - for ULEZ
2014 (L405) VSE in Black with Ivory
2011 (L322) VSE in Black with Ivory
2005 (3.2 V6) Porsche Cayenne in Black with Savanna
1999 (P38) VSE in Burgundy (?) with Sand
