What oil is it though branded as vag it most likely shell helix ultra extra or similar. Its not the viscosity which the important factor but the oil specification.

Just checked and Quantum Synta has the right specification. I think it's cheaper than LLIII anyway.

Whole minefield of oils specs out there, our Skoda has the 2.0tfsi engine which will only take a specific spec of oil if on long life service intervals, and a different one on annual services. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I'm going 6 monthly oil changes even though I only do around 5,ooo miles a year. With oil this cheap and a mate who is a Ferrari technician that doesn't like to charge me labour it would be rude not to. |
