2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

Mmmh - interesting, I have recently put some L405 wheels on a L332 - 20" with same size tyres.

Everyone says they fit without problems, however I think they have a different offset which causes a problem for me.

On the Driver side at the front, the tyre catches the wheel liner - only just but enough to be concerning.

When reversing, it broke one of the wheel liner "fins" which exposes the small radiator that sits in there.

Interested to know if anyone has had a similar experience ?

the l405 wheels do indeed have a different offset....

do your problems occur when in access mode or just normal standard ?...

Hi Martin,
It appears to be in standard mode - I have a drive that is curved and sloped. When reversing on there is when I heard the "Crunch", so RR was possibly at a slightly odd angle. but very strange that clearance is ok on passenger side ?

It had lifted one of the fins in the liner - which is now snapped off.

On possibility I thought of is has the Wheel liner distorted at some point with the heat from the radiator immediately behind it.

Give in- I'm trying to take it to a specialist today, so they can take a look on ramps at what's going on.

Just worried that a stone could it the Rad which is now slightly exposed.

Thanks

i'm stan btw Andy Wink ..

there could be a few possibility's why the tyre caught the liner, as you say maybe it was warped or maybe loose..maybe that side is lower than the other?..

let us know the outcome from your dealer visit.. Thumbs Up
