Hi all in as done some digging on the forum to see if I can find anyone with anything similar to me so sorry if I have missed it
Twice now I have come back to the RR unlocked with remote lights come on as normal doors unlock central display shows the landrover logo put the key in and no "click" and not able to turn the key first time I left it 30 mins came back un liked again and it didn't do it second time I didn't have this long to spare so disconnected and reconnected battery left it 5 and then it's been fine since nothing showing up that could be linked to it on diagnostic garage said and replacing column would be really expensive anyone any ideas that could help it's only done it twice but don't want to have a recurring fault and would like it cured. Thanks in advance

There's a linkage cable underneath the gearbox that sometimes sticks.

If it does stick P doesn't engage properly.

Sounds to me to be more electrical issue... Electronic steering lock not dis-engaging with key... Get the car plugged in my friend...

Hi all had it plugged in nothing showing up they could say would def be this I have got a tester now to monitor it left the cowls off the column so that if it does it again and See if it is getting a live feed down he blue wire. Of purse it's not done it again and as soon as I put the cowl back on and give th tester back it will start doing it again !
