Rear window switch

Near side rear window switch was faulty as the window was fully open when rear switches were activated, I suspect it may have been 8 yr old grandson trying too hard to get it to work when switched off on main switch, if the rear switches were off on main switch the window would work ok, so I removed the door panel and removed the switch and with a little care you can dismantle the switch and rebuild it, there is very little inside the thing, I think that the plastic lever that operates the actual switch had gone past it's end point and jammed, anyway it's back in and working, cost nil result.

That's a result then.

I don't have kids, but 6 and 9 year old nephews, who, in 2 and a half years of having the rr, have not been in it. Ivory leather doesn't help.

I keep telling my sister that when they have finished being trained they can come in it.

To be fair, I do feel slightly guilty sometimes, but my sister isn't really bothered about her old diesel Picasso, and they climb all over it.

I may get brave one day........

I wouldn't rush to be brave, it's hard to nothing when something you cherish is being used in a manner that you would never do, maybe they should be transported in series 2a LR Oh no I'm going into victor meldrew mode again.
