If you buy something from Powerful UK they always have strips of the 3M double sided foam tape on and its AMAZINGLY sticky.

I needed some recently as my tailgate strip is peeling off (rubbish halfords version of the tape) and found some 3M on ebay, but its .

It's almost completely un-stcky!

Does anyone know where I can get some of the good stuff?? Discovery 4 HSE

mammoth tape by everbuild is good , i stuck my rear ab badge on with it and it hasnt come off yet..

Most double sided tapes are very temperature sensitive as regards stickyness. I always heat the surface of the tape and the surface to which it is to be applied with a heat gun or hairdryer. This is particularly relevant at this time of the year.
Never had a failure doing this including 3M tapes.

I buy my 3m tape at Walmart in the US and always make sure I have some at home. About $7 a roll depending on size. Happy to bring a couple of extra rolls back with me next week ( on a plane to he US at the moment) There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

I think that eBay ad is sneakily worded to make it look like you are buying 3M tape, when in fact it's "up to" 3 metres of something not from 3M.

The 3M logo is not on the tape (only 3 .... then M) and nowhere does it say 3M IS the manufacturer.

Have used No More Nails tape before (all I could find when I needed it) and it's very strong.

There is a lot of Chinese fake 3M stuff around (e.g. pretty much all the paint clay on eBay).

The fact it's not sticky and the ad is worded the way it is still points at fake tape.

Have emailed Powerful...yet to hear back.

I don't want to use No More Nails though, its too permanent Discovery 4 HSE

No more nails tape isn't no more nails adhesive on a tape

I got mine on ebay. You need to search for 3m automotive tape I used mine to stick on strip and last time I removed it took paint with it so it works  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
