I never found anything that would attach to that fitting when i had the 05 Model to an iPhone , had to just use the bluetooth facility in the car ... ====================================

"Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy

Mine is a 55 plate and has Bluetooth.

Are you getting your phone to search for the car rather than the other way round?? 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

Just turn the ignition on, got the bluetooth menu on your mobile and search for connections.

If it pops up, enter 2121 and job done.

I thought exactly the same as you until I tried it... 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

So no need to press any button in the car 1st ?.

I'll try it though.

Just tried it as you said and the iPhone comes up with a message

"pairing unsuccessful"
Make sure "Handsfree" is turned on,
in range, and is ready to pair.

So it looks like it has bluetooth but won't pair, damm.

Have you got another phone to check it with? Pairing unsuccessful sounds to me as if it found it?

Did it ask for the code?? 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

No it didn't get to the ask for code state.
Interestingly it came up with "Handsfree" rather than "Landrover ".
