England 2004 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black
pre facelift touchscreen help

Hi All. I have just put my pride and joy on the road this weekend and have been playing with the toys as you do. I must say the Bluetooth works really well with my iPhone 4s full menu and crystal clear calls,
I have used the search about digi tv but I am still unsure am I right in thinking a hybrid unit is the only choice for this model ?
Does anyone know which one out of the many cd magazines on ebay will fit my changer?
If I look at venturecam on the screen it says venturecam charged and ready but I cant find it lol do all cars say this?

Thanks in advance I have no doubt there will be more Very Happy Mick.

The Venture cam is located just below the cupholder on the passenger side.

Not sure on the others! 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

The only upgrade options for the TV are to get a Hybrid digital TV unit, they can be got off ebay, but you have to be very careful to get the correct type. Look carefully at the Type Number on the unit, as some ebay advertised units are non-european spec and will only work on vehicles in Japan / Far East countries. I can't remember the correct specification number for the Hybrid Units, but a quick search on here should find one of my previous posts on it.

I got my Hybrid TV Unit off ebay (cost around £250-00) and it was a simple case of plug and play. I did however take out the old tv unit and re-mount the Hybrid Unit in its place (some people have just shoved the 'new' hybrid unit down alongside the old one).

The venturecam should be located in a little holder, just below the passenger side cup holder. Just push the cam holder in a bit and the holder should then open allowing the camera to be withdrawn.

Hi , Thanks for the replies venturecam now in operation, lol, I would never have thought of looking under the cup holder. I thinjk I am going the EZI DAB route for ipod intergration and will look out for a hybrid tv tuner. There are load of cd magazines on Ebay but im at a loss as to which is the correct one for my model.

Hi,

You will most likely have the Clarion 6 Disc CDAutochanger unit and will therefore need the following Magazine to fit in it

Clarion CAA-397

Link below:

There are plenty on ebay as well

Info on Hybrid TV Tuner to get, from a post I put on a thread a while ago.

Keep a look-out on fleabay for any hybrid tv tuner with the following serial numbers:

AH42-19C063-AE
AH42-19C063-AF
AH42-19C063-AH

I got one with the AH suffix...off a 2010 RRS and it works perfectly on my MY05FFRR
