Hello all, silly question from a newby...

Hi all

The FFRR's have finally dropped enough in price for me to be able to get one....

It's a 2002 4.4 Vogue in Epsom Green 110,000miles and on LPG....

A few issues to sort out but it was very cheap, one reason being no history or manuals...

So my first silly question is....

The young lady who sits behind the dash and calls out when I need to turn a corner when using the satnav is whispering at me and I cant find the buttons or setting to make her shout... I am getting deaf in my old age and getting lost because I can't hear her.

I have ordered a hand book from ebay but I bet there was a separate one for the Satnav.....

Thanks

Pete

Tried the above this morning and it turns up the lady but also turns up the radio, she is much quieter than the radio, is there a way to turn her up so I can hear her over the radio??

And just one more... what buttons, in what order, SET the drivers seat memory and what exactly does it set, apart for the seat position??

Can't wait for this manual to turn up, always like a good read when I get a new car.... endings always the same though... forecourt data !!!!!!!

Thanks

Pete

have a look on this site Pete for the user manual,

http://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/i18n/index

the sat nav volume should increase independently from the radio...only turn the volume up on the steering wheel when the lady is actually speaking..[unless the procedure is different for a 2002?] ... - .- -.

Thanks for that, found it now, it's in one of the sub menus, you can hear her behind the radio or mute the radio so I can pay full attention to her (well trained by the Mrs!!)

I've also sussed out the memory seat...
