Put one on a couple of months after I got it, and it's saved me money on a couple services through not needing changing, and as I've done the crankcase breather upgrade, the cover does not need to come off the engine during a service. And it may work well with the egr removal too......and the JE Engineering remap......

But........ It does make the car louder due to increased intake roar and I don't drive it hard.......so......

Did they remap it with it in place? If so then the map may be set up to take advantage of the extra airflow, so removing it may upset the mapping. So i would leave it of it isnt bothering you unduly.  There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
