Myself and my business partner are walking up Machu Picchu in May.
We are doing the walk for Marie Curie Cancer care.
We have nearly raised 9K and our target is 10K.

Most of us have been touched in someway or another by Cancer so its for a really good cause that we are doing this. Both myself and Andrew are training hard to get fit for this challenge. In fact it's bl dy killing us.

Update on Training

Started our full training program about 3 weeks ago.
We have been doing about 7-10 miles a week and some gym work since January but in the last 2 weeks we have really stepped it up.

On week 1 an old injury came back with vengeance so off i went see the surgeon and an MRI scan . I've got a damaged Knee cap that decides to move from its normal location and cause me severe pain. So i now have a knee support and happy days it works a treat.

So back training last week we did about 18 miles over 3 walks. All the walks are up mountains so no flat walking all pretty intense stuff.

This week we have completed about 24 miles over 3 walks. tonight we have completed 8.5 miles in 2 hours 24 mins
which is going some with an ascent of 850 feet.

We are off 4 weeks tomorrow

We have raised £10500.00 for the charity
