Performance panel air filter

If i were to fit a pipercross panel air filter to my supercharged 4.2 v8, would it let enough air difference in to ruin the mixtures of the lpg system...

Was advised by my local LPG technician that it would be fine to fit the k&n panel filter, so I did and all seems fine.
