i think the holder has two metal prongs that can be 'bent' out a bit so the bulb base fits more snuggly... ... - .- -.

Had the same, bought a new holder from Dan, much cheapness! |

In my case it's obviously happened due to the tight fit of the LED sidelight and when reverting to the OE bulb, the holder has been prized apart a little more than originally. |
