I had the classic Range Rover rusty upper tailgate and wheel arches so I thought it was about time I put it into the bodyshop as it was starting to get fairly visible So I had the full tailgate painted, the rear arches and also got my side vents colour coded.


Before the lettering was added.



I also then took this opportunity to upgrade my lettering and boot strip to titan silver and I'd previously fitted the titanium splitter to the front, decided to leave the fog lamp surrounds black as this ties in with the silver inner and black outer on the grill IMO




















And I added some LED number plates lights which look much better



And some better photos of my new walnut rear console





Now all I have on the list is repairs to dashpod pixel, possibly LED backlighting and replacement of the puddle lights with some Range Rover branded ones :thumbsup:

Thanks I do like the rear bumper - not sure I'd have fitted it myself but I think it looks good in the flesh particularly on the silver car.

RE the comment about colour coding the grill - personally I prefer the gloss black surround I think it make the car look more aggressive at the front and it's the style adopted by Land Rover in 2012  Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

Are those lights the 2010 versions?

If they are 2012 sorry it must be the picture.

If they are 2010 is there a way of opening them up and painting the grey bits black?

The rear bumper almost looks like a SSRR HST rear end

Gaz I'm not sure on the headlight inserts more dark grey than black I'd say I definitely won't be doing a headlight split - had a bad experience with my Audi TT when I fitted bespoke DRL's and indicators into the existing headlight units and they didn't seal properly and it took a few attempts to sort

Kingpleb I believe the bumper design is influenced by the Sport HST bumper it's actually called a HSX rear bumper

Seabass - the rear bumper strip is just the standard rubbery plastic finish albeit I do use a silicone cleaner on it and a back to black product which gives it a nice shine and a slightly more 'wet black' look

RRUK - I fitted the Range Rover badge as that bit of the rear console was a bit scuffed I may replace the lower console section and remove the badge  Now: BMW 640d M Sport, Alpine White

Looks super. Yip couldnt live with the range rover badge stuck on rear console. I like the grille as it is as it contrasts nicely with the lower bumper  Present :2008 TDV8 HSE
