2013 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Mariana Black

Parking Sensor Paint

Hi guys.

Is the paint on the sensor a special paint and / or does it need to be applied in a specific way to allow the sensor to work?

Just swapped a faulty one and need to match in.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

touch up or spray best Stan?

spray will give you a better finish...the touch-up stuff tends to be to thick.. ... - .- -.

2006 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 V8 Cairns Blue

The paint comes in a kit with the top coat lacquer. I use an old sponge with a slit in it to hold the sensor whilst I sprayed 3 coats of colour and one coat of lacquer. The sensor I replaced has a much better finish that the factory fit ones! I spray very fine coats. Only needs about three quick jabs on an aerosol.
