Where's the money gone? INTO PROFITS! I was quite shocked to see the stats for where the automotive profits are. Luxury cars: the German big three, RR, Bentley, JLR, Porsche represent a tiny section of the overall automotive market. After all, most people can't afford their cars. However, this group represents a HUGE amount of the total profits generated by the total market. Margins are very slim at the budget end of the market and very fat at the top.

After all. The biggest reason for buying a £million car is to show everyone you can afford a £million car.

Looks like some SEs were produced, smacks a bit of incompetence to tool up for production of the SE with the different engine etc and then not bother putting it on sale! Maybe they'll become sought after for their rarity.
