Fuel Tank - Air Lock

Hi guys, bought a 3.6tdv8 about a month ago. Love it! But I am having difficulty filling it up.
I put the pump in, pull the lever and every couple of seconds it clicks to signal a full tank.
So at the moment i'm having to lightly pull the lever to get a constant flow of fuel.
It had low fuel when I picked it up, since I have filled it a couple of times.

Any ideas

Thanks for the link Stan. I've reset the safety lock so hopefully next time it'll fill up with no problems.
