6 Sp box Oil Service: Recommendations?

I want to have my gearbox oil changed and filter done, as preventative maintenance whilst it's don;e less than 60K.

Does anyone know a reputable place to have it done? I am thinking of avoiding the Megaflush route this time.

My Dealer quoted £550 for single flush and £900 for double flush, which is way too much. Discovery 4 HSE

I bought the fluid and filter off dan and then got the local stealer to do it. They charged me 95 plus vat, plus the fliuids and filter from dan (cant remember but think it was about 210 plus vat for gen parts and fluid) this is for the tdv8 though but it is the same box pretty much. So total of say 305 plus vat. The money is in the fluid, at £18 per litre..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

The sleeve leak is a common issue that is why the change kit comes with a new sleeve.

I bought my kit for the 4.2 SC from LRParts. Currently 175 GBP. Had our mechanics change it and when I had the busted cooler I did it myself a few times (remove filter, fill with new oil etc.). For the filling I used one of these insecticide spray bottles, worked a treat. Cost me like 20 GBP in Nigeria !! Used it quite a lot as I needed to get the coolant/ATF mix out.

So can be done yourself quite easily, RRPhil has done a very good write up on the teardown of that box and I just copied the relevant pages into Word and use this as the manual for the mechanics or myself. I mean it is very easy anyway.

If you are like me and you have decent mechanics around and don't want to get dirty (here they are super cheap as well) then any decent indy can do it in an hour at the most. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
