Thinking of selling the Range Rover its a 54Reg only weeks away from been registered on an O5
TD6 I am only the second owner.
Its got 140000 miles on but the gearbox was done at 120000
Full service history runs sweet as and first time off the key with no heat
Touch screen sat nav unit. Stainless side bars. Silver with dark grey leather and mahogany wood.
Has a few marks but nothing bad worst is a scratch to the passenger door the granddaughter did with a stone.
Has tax and test but would need to check what, went through the last MOT with no advisory's think its over 7 months or so test on it.
I want to be as honest as possible the only thing i know what could require doing to the car it has a small leak on the air condenser rad if you gas it up it lasts a few days and you can see the unit leaking with the uv light at the op left hand corner.
I do have two bottles of gas not the small tins, the new owner can have but no new unit to go in.
Also the usual rear part of the cubby box is peeling paint.
Looking for £8k seen older ones and a lot rougher go for more.
Location Tyne and Wear I WILL BE WANTING THE PRIVATE PLATE OFF THE CAR WHEN SOLD.

THIS CAR HAS NO FAULTS THAT'S JUST BEEN REMOVED FROM THE COMPUTER AND HAS NONE OUTSTANDING.
If you have an open diagnostic tool this can be put on the car to check this if required.

Whats a realistic price for this car then guys.

To be honest I think it is a great deal and very fairly priced especially as it has already had the gearbox done. Mine is in for £3k worth of gearbox replacement as I write.

I always recommend as many pics as possible to get people interested. Interior shots close ups of any wear etc. All goes to reassure buyers that the car is worth seeing in the flesh and that it will not be a wasted journey. Tom

as said, its a competitive price and a new aircon condenser is only about £170'ish and easy to fit.. ... - .- -.

There are a lot out there at the moment with similar mileages and naturally with it heading to summer there are less buyers about. You need to market it well to make it stand out with positive and accurate information.

Faults, even if they are declared will make people move on to the next one - as they'll want everything working and not have to deal with a problem on day one of ownership.

The plate transfer will put people off as they'll see that as a hassle and an additional cost (its £105 to take the plate off). I would get the A/C repaired and do the plate transfer yourself - will make it easier and more attractive for buyers.


Thats just my 2p worth - applying my thought process when looking for a new car. Just be positive about the car and be accurate with your detail Current Fleet:-

Well just taxed the old girl for 12 months so might just keep her if no takers. Will try and get some pics of her up and inside shots if i get time over the next few days if no takers she will be staying with me for a while.
