Done a bit of Googling and it looks like you might have to start taking the dash apart unless you want to try brute force?

Are there any sounds / clunks etc or just absolutely nothing?

I actually meant sounds when you tried to open the glove box - does it sound different to usual (just trying to see whether a cable might have come detached or something).

Pull the passenger sit up close, push your knees hard against the box lid whilst using your fingers to try and pull down on it.... worked for me when I got something stuck in the catch.

Got it open. Looks like the cable has snapped and i might replace this as well, so if your about Ducky Dan can you give me a price please
