If anyone wants to upgrade the horrendous sound system that is originally fitted in a 2004 model then BARIS is the man.
After a couple of mails to Baris last week we arranged a time for him to do this upgrade and a few other things at the same time.
The stage two amp makes an unbelievable difference to the sound.
I'd recommend Baris to anyone who is wanting to do this.
All emails he answered very quickly with clear and precise answers.
Great guy with a lot of knowledge about upgrading these systems.
I will definitely be using him again for more upgrades.

The stage 2 amp upgrade is a no brainer if you like to have music in the car. Mine goes well loud, without distortion, even with the stock speakers.

"Baker Street" is one of my favs, with that saxophone.........

Money well spent.

hi, approximately how much money is well spent on a stage 2 amp with aux in pls.

I use a tape on a fly cable to play ipod etc (vogue nav system) I will have to find this barris fellow.

In my old 04 i changed the speakers with the later HK Logic 7 stuff with brilliant results... So, coupled with this amp upgrade... Must sound amazing!

One of the things I love about FFRRs, their sound system. The one on mine is brilliant and since I love listening to music while driving.................... MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

What's wrong with the all singing all dancing Harmon Kardon Logic 7 system?

I find mine more than enough...

People even comment on how excellent it is listening to music in my car. Am I missing something? Discovery 4 HSE

To be fair, the post had me wondering if I was missing a trick as well because I read it after having 2 sons in the rear this morning watching the Skyfall DVD on loudspeak via the factory HK speakers and the sound was just brilliant!

The mods Baris carried out for me were the stage two amp upgrade, an iPod connection and the latest maps.
I can honestly say it made the drive back to Holland a lot more fun.
Definiatly worth doing.
All I have to do now is mount the iPod somewhere !!!
