Yes they are DRLs I got them of ebay the lights are good they have the proper DRL relay fitted ebay again £10 ish so they dim on side/ head lights on. They do get some looks from other FF and disco owners who don't have DRLs. A big THANKYOU has to go to paulmoran2 for emailing me a how to do list, easy when you know how.

@ WD, craig [ctc] can fit these leds into standard fog enclosures so that they go into yours..give him a pm ..

This is the ebay item number for the relay I used,
The relay comes with a easy to follow wiring diagram.

The lights are ebay item eBay Item No. 331191327068

The resistors just for the fittings ebay item eBay Item No. 271395857269

I did mine on a stand alone system so no need for resistors, although I did buy some just for the connectors to the new drl's. I just disconected the original fogs and taped up the connectors so they are still there if and when.
I found a ignition live in the fuse box and found and used a earth in there also, then just took a sidelight supply from the headlight connector to trigger the relay to dim the drl's.
