Not sure about the inevitability of conversion - I've been collecting bits including new tail lights but you know I can't be bothered  Geoff

^^^I went through doing my own myself (collecting parts, ordering some,spending hours online, etc) and honestly, should I now have to do it one another one, I would drive to the costwolds to get it done ! You can only do so much with online forum information and guestimates.

If you want the job done properly, get a pro to do it : it will not cost much more than collecting bits ( I was the first surprised!), spending time online, getting stuck with the L322 in bits, etc...

Anyway, it looked spot on once completed :
