Bluetooth installation L322 Query

I have a 2004 Range Rover non-touch screen. There is telephone icon on the console but not connected. No telephone module at the rear of vehicle as you can see from pictures attached. Looking for advice on what do I need to do to get Bluetooth connection, eg parts to get up and running. I do not want factory fitted item just to have Bluetooth connectivity for my mobile phone.
Have looked through the site on some of the forum and still confused as to what or how to do this. Would appreciate any direction.
Don't want to go down parrot route or install another full system.

I'm a bit confused as to what you want if I'm honest. You don't want factory fit but not like a parrot install.

Bluetooth was never fitted to the early ff like ours. I fitted a ulf from a later BMW. It pairs with my iphone 5 whenever it's in range. It's all factory fit and it has voice control on the nav and phone now.

Is this the type of thing you mean ?

Not sure why your picture has not uploaded.

If you search for BMW ulf or just ulf on here there is loads of info including parts needed and how to fit it.

Can't help with a different option I'm afraid, as I have gone the factory fit BMW ulf route.

Hi mate.

It's all on the forum already. I've posted bits a few times.

http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic18611.html?highlight=ulf

I have a 6th gen ulf. The later the better I understand, but mine works with iPhone 5 fine.

You'll need an antenna which fastens on the top of the sat nav unit frame, where you have 2 threaded bolts sticking up.

The mic, as you suggest.

There should be the cable for the antenna already in the car if it's prewired for phone. It's a fairly think black cable with a black / purple end.

The 54 pin black plug will def need to be rewired. Not sure if you have that bit of the loom. Have a good root about right down the side of the units.

Have a look here ;

The rewire is simple. Don't need any soldering. I had it already in my car so can't help you if you have to purchase that bit of the loom.

I think Baris on this forum can supply a loom if you need one. Send him a pm. The loom from him should be rewired already.

If you have the plug the rewire info is here :

The antenna looks like this ;

I understand you can get one from BMW perhaps cheaper new.
