Fuel injection problems TD6 | |
Hi,
Hust wondering if anyone can help me here, i have a Range Rover TD6 that has a intermittant Fuel injection problem.
Some times is runs rough as though its running on 4 cylinders and the fuel injection error is displayed, i had the fault codes read : p3505 glow system
p1195 rail pressure control valve
p1190 rail pressure control
I replaced the secondary fuel pump 8 months ago, i have just replaced the pressure valve as was advised this was the problem. i thought not as its the sensor that has detected low pressure and something has caused this.
its a intermittant fault that no one so far has been able to help with.
some times from cold start it runs fine and twice now its smoked like a house on fire ! it also has run fine for some journeys.
i was thinking its a injector or two leaking into the cylinders and causing pressure irregularities.
what sort of tests can be done for this?
any ideas ?
thanks
