New range of CREE/SMD lamps in stock

As we have developed such a strong trust with our supplier of CREE / SMD products I am growing the range and have added 4 more references to stock this week.

As with the last batch of nice sidelights and interior lights these are all the best quality you will find, very tactile and well machined!

(They even do what they are supposed to do!)

So first up:

A festoon bulb, replaces UK reference 272 plenty of cars use these in the interior

A front side light bulb for most older vehicles (like a Defender) replaces UK reference 207 This is a forward facing CREE with 5630 SMDs around the sides

A RED twin filament Stop/Tail light, replaces UK reference 380 this is a RED CREE facing out and RED 5630 SMDs around the sides and works at two levels of intensity (twin contacts, offset pins)

Then a AMBER CREE with AMBER SMDs around the side for Indicators, fits many cars - (single contact, straight pins)

All very bright and impressive, just like the sides and interiors launched a few weeks back.

I appreciate some of these don't pop up on the FFRR and am happy to order in any special requests, I am currently looking at the little 6w Halogen reverse bulb to add that one to the range, could someone tell me if this points rearwards though please? (So I know whether to get a CREE lens on the end or not) Thanks

Thanks Stan, was eyeing up a 5630 SMD/Cree 180 lumen unit, if my brain functions correctly today thats about 25 watts so should be more interesting than that little 6w bulb.

Anyone tried anything similar before? Paul Redding

Steve

Perhaps you could put together packages of interior and exterior bulbs?

I for one would be keen on buying a full set of interior bulbs for example .
Half the battle is knowing what fits what , but if you were to work that out.... Whistle Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

I could do that, although tried it after requests on one of the other forums, turned out though that no kit suited everyone as many had done a handful of mods already - then do you want it to include map lights, glove box, and so on.

Perhaps best I do a spreadsheet of what fits where on what years as standard bulbs then put the mods alongside Paul Redding

I need to create some of the bulbs on our website both in Osram and SMD/LED upgrades, will do that next week.

Hi Boringoldgit/ Steve,

You posted that you were eyeing up a 5630 SMD/Cree 180 lumen unit... about 25 watts so should be more interesting than than the std 6w halogen reverse bulbs.

Your website table seems to indicate you're due an order of reverse bulbs at the end of August.

Do you please have any updates on your search for a decent LED upgrade reverse bulb?

Thanks

Thumbs Up

Steve, the reverse lamps are filament orientation critical on the FF reverse lights sir... Meaning, they work just like a torch so the filament orientation if moved even slightly out of line will move the beam pattern making them useless...

Hope that helps Thumbs Up
