Reminds me a bit of the Western Isles of Scotland. I keep meaning to visit Norway.

Got the Howling Moon roof tent that I used with my Disco 300TDi.
I sat it on 3 Thule gutter mount bars
Just need a roof rack now. Sad
I was given a rack for my TD6 but it turned it was from a P38, so close but not quite right.
They are not very common in NZ.

I am now the proud owner of three different roof racks for my TD6. Very Happy
One is the 2 bar factory sport rails, I would never put the roof tent on those.
Two is a 3 bar set from Rhino Rack it is incredibly strong and would be good for the roof tent but the tent only sits on 2 bars. On my old Disco I used 3 bars but it had gutters to fit them too.
And number three is my pride and joy a factory expedition rack that carries everything I throw at it and now lives permanently on the car. I think I will have to make a couple of cross bars to clamp onto the side rails of the rack to help support the roof tent when I fit it.

And now I own three roof racks I need to sell at least one of the first two.

Likewise. As far as I'm concerned, a 3 star hotel is camping.

But that almost tempted me to want to try it.
