Drivers door not unlocking

Replaced outside cable to latch mechanism earlier. Had been opening the car from inside after it broke this morning. Just tried to get in & neither exterior or interior handles working. Done a search Stan, nothing definitive appearing, anyone any ideas, climbing over the passenger seat a wee bit unbecoming as I'm a fat bastid!

Do I butcher the door card?

Try & pop the lock with a coat hanger?

All ideas will be actioned this evening, getting really Censored off, time for a new car looming!

Thanks in advance....

You could try prising the collar round the door "pop-up" button up and off, gripping the button with a pair of long nose pliers, pulling it up and at the same time pulling on the internal door handle as in trying to open the door. I believe this has worked for people in the past.
You might be lucky depending on what you have done inside the door. Thumbs Up

i think there is a cam or sorts in the lock that might be jammed or in the wrong position, if it is that how to get to it will be a problem..

i suppose you have tried the key in the lock? ... - .- -.

Yes, tried the key mate, trying to force it right now, might have to be a new door card if this fails....

Well door opened, I hadn't seated the top of the cable properly which wouldn't allow enough pull on the cable. Apart from a very slightly bent door card, all well. For the next week or so no doubt!
