Michelin Latitude Diamaris or Pirelli Scorpion Zero's?

Am about to put a set of 4 tyres on the SC and can't decide between Michelin Latitude Diamaris or Pirelli Scorpion Zeros.

The Pirelli's are £206 and the Michelin's are £233 so there's not a massive difference in price. I've ruled out the Conti's going on what I've read about the tyre edges wearing.

Just wondered what others peoples thoughts were?

Bothe are the very best choice , Michelin's last longer by reputation but don't have any evidence. 2008 MY Supercharged

The miches are great on road tyres, pretty much zero off road/winter bias though.

I have had them on mine now for 24,000 miles and they are still good with plenty of tread, poss around 4-5mm left all around.

Scorps are slightly more agressive and all round type of tyre, like a wrangler, i have them on one of the discos sets of wheels, again seem hard wearing. Pirelli have updated the tread pattern on the scorps recently which makes them slightly more road biased, one set of zz in the middle of the tread rather than 2 sets of zz. Worth checking which you are getting, as the newer ones are reported to be not quite so good off road as the older type.

Pays ya money takes your choice, I'm getting scorps on the 20" next time for a change. Worth having a look at camskill.co.uk to get an idea of delivered prices, I use malvern tyres and they will get pretty close to camskill prices fitted. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Have ordered a set of 255/50/20 Y Pirelli Scorpion Zero's.

Hoping they'll be here in the next day or two so that I can get them fitted and balanced Smile

Good to know Gaz Thumbs Up

The Scorpion Zero's that are on it now seem to be fairly good but have worn out.

The AB we've got has Continental Cross Contacts on it that it had when it left the factory. So far they seem OK but they've only covered 9.5k miles so it's to early to tell long term.
