Update - I have politely asked the seller to allow me to arrange the collection/delivery via www.wheelcourier.com or if he would be prepared to organise this himself.

However he has replied, stating the wheel and tyre weigh 35Kg which exceeds the 30Kg limit set by the courier firm?

therefore - his quote for £40 delivery remains competitve against their charges and those of post office...

... can't be bothered to waste any more time

(afterall - the 'buy it now' wheel and tyre purchase price was a good deal )

so I will continue with his original quote as I now desperately need to replace the tyres on my car.

CAN YOU BELEIVE IT - I WENT TO REMOVE ONE OF THE SCREW ON METAL DUST CAPS FITTED TO MY CURRENT WHEELS AND THEY WERE STUCK FAST - SQUIRTED SOME TRUSTY WD40 ON THE PROBLEM LAST NIGHT - THEN RETURNED TO ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THEM THIS MORNING - NOT BUDGING - HAVE THE GENIUS IDEA OF USING PLIERS TO GENTLY EASE THEM OFF - THAT WORKED A TREAT - REMOVED THE CAP... ALONG WITH THE REST OF A SHEARED VALVE ETC PFSHSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSsssssssssssst
