Turbo intercooler hoses

I have had one replaced because it was split but the other seems to be blowing out a bit of oily air, can see the mucky deposit. However I cannot see any split should I just replace anyway, after all it is a 2007. The black smoke is also back under acceleration. Geoff

Get a nice set of silicone hoses - there must be a local distributor somewhere near you. Otherwise give Andrew at allisport a call

I did this on my wife's TDV8 RRS after it split the standard hoses for the 2nd time. I think it looks good too Smile

I did replace, still can't see any split so it may just have needed reseating. However the new part I got from Dan (stuck with original as only needed one - the other being new) has done the trick. Geoff

It can be the slightest of splits and it will smoke, which can be very difficult to see with the naked eye....

sorry to mention the obvious.
i detected mine(MY 2007, 70k miles)by getting the wife to press the accelerator while i had had my hands examining the pipes.
definitely felt the rush of leaking air.

sounds rude... Shocked 2011 4.4 TdV8 Nara Bronze
