Scotland already has tax-varying powers which it has never used (funnily, the Yes campaign don't mention that).

Perhaps not, but it pours cold water on the yes campaign claims that ship building would be a source of income for an independent Scotland. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey |

As explained, without the UK, Scotland will need to find an extra £10bn per year - as per the Scottish government's own figures. Per year. Every year. Look at the facts. |

Better than a £110Bn hole to fund every year, hence the whole Yes argument of why Scotland will be better off... |

Again, look at the numbers. Westminster collects tax from the whole UK and then sends a greater amount per capita back to Scotland. Scotland gets a better deal, not a worse one. The UK has no problem paying its debt back, at low interest rates, and it can print money in its own currency via its own central bank if necessary. Scotland's borrowing costs will be huge in comparison, and it will need to borrow a lot. This is basic stuff which the Yes campaign and followers apparently cannot see. That should be very worrying. |

We do, stop forgetting we pay taxes, we have industry, we have a strong economy, we have resources, we have a far less deficit than rUK who need us to fund their deficit and are rightly scared we leave. We will not be paying wasted billions on trident,a defunct deterrent. Westminster knows it will be worse off so wants Scotland to believe it will to scare voters into saying no, the polls however are showing that as people are not dumb and as they read, learn and decide for themselves the yes vote is growing rapidly. I would have been concerned if everyone said yes or no at the start, but now the arguments are on the table people are moving into a decision and yes is growing . it shows a very engaged country and a very followed debate. 09 TDV8 Westminster, Mariana Black, Rear seat entertainment, hatch bag and 2 slobbery mutts |

The uk can pay its debts WITH Scottish income included, once Scotland leaves with their proportion of debt the rest needs to be funded by Westminster ruk alone.
