Gentlemen, On the way home the rear of the car lifted right up in the air, had a message that air sups inactive and the orange light has gone out on the dash buy the switch which adjusts the suspension. I've checked the fuse it's ok, the car was fine on the way to work, Any ideas ?, The gap between the rear arch and the tyre is nearly 10in,The Fatty looks like a boy racers dream car from 70s, Thanks in advance, Mark. 2004 vogue

It will be locked out now and you will need a diagnostic tool or a dealer to reset the fault before the suspension will be active again. Even if you fix the issue.

I'm guessing it has got a non feasible reading from one of the height sensors, and done what it is supposed to do which is lock itself out.

Obviously likely to be a rear sensor perhaps under reading.

That's about the extent of my knowledge.

I would tend to agree with Mjd sounds like a sensor fault, or perhaps a snapped height sensor link. Obviously the compressor is working as it has pumped it right up. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
