suspension lowered by itself while driving

Maybe be done to death and i have looked through prior posts
I did check the compressor, its only about a year old and there is now way of clearing a valve under the bronze baffle.
the compressor seams to function ok.
its compressing and shutting off.
.It looks like a sealed unit.
I checked the offroad display and its shows the car going up, down and standard.
Any ideas on this?
its a 2007 tdv8 vogue.

Cheers

When you say lowered, do you mean fully or did you just notice the bonnet dropping a bit while stationary?

If the latter this is quite normal as the car levels itself out. Bit unnerving though if you haven't seen it before. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It lowered right down and basically bottomed out. I could hear tyres rubbing inner arches. I stopped and took keys out and started up again and it came up, self levelled and I drove off. It did the same again about 4 miles later. The up down light was out and innactive. I had a disc 3 last but never saw this.it has 22" wheels with low profile tyres. Can this be an issue? Its been flawless so far.

Not had this with the l322 but something similar with the p38 was a height sensor - there should be a fault code to assist

I'm waiting for a fault code reader to arrive, I should get an idea then.

Did a few miles today including some semi serious off roading.
no problems, had the the suspension up and down a few times.
will see what fault code reader says when it arrives.
