I'm not a fan of golf myself (as you may have guessed), but for the record generally I find golfers OK (I particularly like those who beat the americans again today).

I don't think it's a golfer thing, anyone who calls someone else's car brutal and outdated is a bit of a really, particularly when they themselves drive nothing of note.
