Evening gents
Had the car back a week since the second gearbox rebuild was setting off from traffic lights on Saturday gave it a little gas and there was a bang from underneath, The car still drives but the gearbox is not right it seems as if the engine power is not being translated into forward motion.
Had the fault codes read the only one is PLE30 [62, 71,LE30] which will reset but comes back as soon as you drive. It comes up on the engine faults not gearbox.
I can't find a reference to that code anybody any idea?

not heard of this error code andy and doing a search on here and google reveals nothing...hopefully rrphil who knows gearboxs inside out will see this thread and might know the code.. ... - .- -.

yes I cant find a reference to it other than a eastern european sit where a chap has asked about it for a freelander however Google wount translate it
Although I am 99% sure itys a gearbox fault the fault code appears in the engine fault log. I wonder if it's lioke a speed match code where engine speed doesn't correspond to gearbox speed? Mine was a blue one!

There is a complete list of the error codes posted on the forum somewhere (I think it was Joe90 ????) maybe the code is in that list. Otherwise PM me I will email the list (I saved it in word ). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
