Clicking steering Wheel

Noticed nother thing on the way home today.
When turning right and then left (after a roundabout or long bend) theres a noticeable click from the steering wheel.
Doesn't happen the other way around and I don't think or can't hear it when driven slowly only at speed.

Either your indicator stalk is just about to stop self cancelling or your slip ring (steering wheel to column electrical supply) is breaking apart... Quite often change them!

Thanks CTC.
Is this a catastrophic failure or something that can be endured on the way home.
I'm looking for a new steering wheel anyway so is it part of this? Currently - 55 FFRR S/C and loving it
