RR sport wheels on FF?

I'm new, so sorry if this has been asked many times before.

Will Range Rover sport wheels with 275/40/20 tyres go straight onto my 54 plate FF? I read somewhere that I would need new nuts, but I don't know if there is any truth in this?

Thanks for any replies.

No
Lots of wrong's....weight of tyre, wall depth, width, wheel strength...I'll let the techie's do the rest...

Oh....they look awful on a FF too...IMHO Rolling Eyes

Welcome Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Thanks for the reply. I personally think they look great, but I suppose it's a matter of opinion. I've been reading a couple of other threads where it's been said they're not ideal, but will not cause a problem. So I just really want to know if it's true that I will need different wheel nuts or not if anyone knows?

Style and taste aside, you need to be 100% on the insurable risk issue...you may invalidate your policy if the weight / rating of wheel and tyre combo are wrong...do your homework and make sure you are covered.

Its always better to stick with OEM L322 wheels with correct tyres (Says he who has OF wheels Laughing ) GONE 2010 Facelifted 3.6 TDV8 - Stornoway Grey + 22" Overfinch Olympus

Your right, it's a personal opinion. I would echo the words above though....the RRS wheels we're made for the sport, a car that's a whole lot lighter than a FFRR with tyres often rated at 106....they're just not a good combo for the Full Fat.

There are some uber tech's on here tho mate....have a listen to what they say too... Thumbs Up Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Thank you both for the replies. The tyres are rated as 106w extra load. Are these adequate for the FF Range Rover for on road use?

106 isn't enough, I 'think' it's 109 / 111 on FF tyres...mine are 109....but yes the RRS is a 106

When I had a D3 this was something I went through as I put RRS 20" stormers on it and had to change tyres. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Damn! I was really excited about buying them, but I'd better not bother if there's a safety concern. Thanks for all of your help
