Sorry, just remembered, the seat back connector is tucked up through into the seat back itself.
You have to remove the seat back to get to it.
To remove the seat back first unhook the leather flap that's tucked under the bottom of the seat (on elastic hooks).
If I remember correctly the seat back itself is held on by two Torx screws, one in each bottom corner screwed vertically upwards underneath. The seat back should then pull upwards if you prise the bottom out first (the top is held in by plastic vertical slots so don't pull it any other way!).
I don't think you need to remove the arm rest, it slots around it but check before man handling it!

With the seat back off you can narrow down the faulty elements further by checking each one. Given the age there may be more than one faulty element but as previously mentioned if the seat base doesn't work there's no point carrying on so worth checking that first.

Hi
Got similar probs with heated drivers seat . Lights go on for 5 seconds , then go off , no heat .
Checked forum to find problem lies in heater pad under seat.
First check all wires for continuity .
Raised seat to access wires , wiggled a few , and hey presto , all working
I can't believe the driving position is so much better , feel even higher than ever ?
Thanks for forum knowledge , mine just a glitch
Will double check all connections , and lube accordingly !!!
