The Bluetooth version works through an iPad3 (or later) (and the information screen on the dash panel not the Nav screen) for the FFRR so presume it would do the same for a D4. I think it can also be used with an Android device. The GAP website will confirm.

Just had a search and found that yes the new BT iid tool will indeed do both the ffrr and the disco4 in one.

Being a new IID convert and knowing how particular and into the mechanics of your RR that you are Mark, I couldn't recommend the IID tool highly enough. The non BT version will also plug into and display things on a laptop. That said, you very quickly get used to reading the diagnostics and operating the tool via the aforementioned "dash panel" (basically where your fuel range, time, average fuel consumption etc are displayed below the odometer and rev counter).

Have asked Dan for a price, so might get one on order. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐๐

So you can order the none BT model and this will work with full display screens on a windows based laptop as well as using the readout on the dash panel? Was pondering on the BT model, but that has got me thinking now. Steve. 1968 Series IIA Pastel Green, nearly there project |

Yes but from what I can determine the older iid can only be configured for one type of LR. The bt iid can be used across the range There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer๐๐
