I can get the chips delivered for free if I ask someone nicely as they often have lorry loads of the stuff in a week 😄😄

Just have to get a lot of matting to go underneath it and stop the weeds coming up as well as some rock salt as well. Think I'll get my butt in gear and get the prep work done this weekend 😄 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

We had a tree surgeon hear and he had a big diesel shredder that would easily chew up a frozen body so he said Shocked apparently he read somewhere, if you freeze them, theres no mess! Shocked Shocked Shocked

But, my gosh would that eat through some wood!

I paid him and included a decent tip Thumbs Up Bow down Bow down Bow down

yeah we hire a large diesel chipper a couple of times a year to clear sites. can literally feed an entire small tree into it and you will get a pile of mulch, have to be very careful with them, don't want to get pulled in with the branches. lethal bits of kit.

they have a hydraulic feed roller, and the cutlers are on an large spinning disc behind it. Thumbs Up awesome. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

It's something I'd love to get into as a secondary job but I have one problem with it.

I detest heights 😄😄😄

I love working with the wood and breaking it up. When the logs are dried there is nothing better than spending an hour a day for a week breaking wood down by axe! It can be freezing outside and you can be there in a thick t shirt, safety gigs and trousers and boots and the sweat is pouring off you 😄😄 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Sure bloody is! Feel like a weight lifter with some of the fatter logs I move to the chopping blocks Very Happy

Mind I have two chopping blocks and move two at a time as I can then do 2 or more swings before having to move the rounds again or what's left of them Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Oh the fun I had fitting that on my back with a pair of drive on Ramos as assistance and some empty 20litre veg tubs!

I guess designing in a hole big enough for oil and diff would have been a bit much to ask 😄 FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
