I had a 110 and wasn't keen on the size so i sold it.

I don't understand your comment about the ride. Your new wheels look to be a larger diameter, so surely the ride is now worse?

I find that Defenders are very sensitive to tyre pressure variations. I notice, also, that you've gone from (reportedly excellent) BFG MT KM2's to BFG AT's. Are yours the latest AT compound? Si. <This is my name.
