Roof rails seem to really suit the L405 where they spoilt the L322

I have taken the box off as I only need it for touring, its a sports box that holds 330 litres, it took 30 secs to remove, basically there are 4 knobs inside the box that you just turn 180deg to unlock, then it lifts off. the cross rails come off but takes slightly longer using a hex key, took me 10mins. the roof rails stay on permanently but look good in silver against the black car.

if u need any more info or photos of just the rails let me know. Colchester is in the nicer part of Essex, (not as nice as St. Tropez !) been here since the early 80s

We have the roof rails on our car, and I purchased some universal cross bars in the summer for the top box when we drove to Spain.
Are your bars the genuine LR items?
Only ask because ours whistled like hell!
