I'm friends with a Police Officer and part of her job was to visit families to break the news that their loved ones had been killed by a drunk driver or by a driver losing control while using a mobile phone or speeding.

I've seen the Aussie TAC ads and theyre harrowing but to the point. I still enjoy getting battered when the opportunity presents itself but that ain't when I'm driving |

Doesn't work though. It only shocks right thinking people and even some of those who are as nonchalant as I am about such adverts. The thing is, I don't need to watch blood guts and gore to understand that operating any kind of machinery whilst distracted or impaired is a really bad idea.
